I was able to spend a day of fun at Rocky Mountain National Park on Friday after two days of work in Loveland, Colorado. Couldn’t ask for better weather! Still plenty of snow in the higher elevations and very chilly up there – we’re talking over 12,000 feet. Exact opposite at the lower elevations of the park, where temps were in the 80-90s. Dressing in layers is never more appropriate than when visiting this park! For the first time in 7 trips to RMNP, I was able to drive all the way to the west entrance. Not as much going on over on the west side, but I was rewarded with a moose sighting and an encounter with a deer on a hiking trail. Enjoy the pictures.
